Art Inspiration Feature #18 goes to one of my favorite young artist: Beatrice Tan (Tan Kit Mun) who is more widely known online and in the manga-anime style illustration community as “kiDChan”, the 25-year old creative talent from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. ♥

I really like her use of colors—sometimes bold, sometimes muted—but in mixes and hues uncommon that gives her works a mysterious and secretive atmosphere. Her slender, thoughtful, and at times evocative characters nested in flowing lines and patterns create beautiful compositions that are interesting to gaze at as a whole and to look at closer to enjoy the details.
